„Stronger together“ – project for strengthening the non-institutional care services of Association „Anđeli“ in partnership with the City of Split

During last month, Split Development Agency – RaST, together with the Association „Anđeli“ (The Angels), has been working on the development and preparation of the project “Stronger together” which goal is to improve the social services of non-institutional care with the aim of better inclusion within the community of the most vulnerable social group – children with disabilities, who due to physical, communicational, sensory or intellectual difficulties require additional support for learning and development.

Project “Stronger together” is the instrument of understanding, commitment and care of entire interested community which will, through broadening of social services and strengthening of the capacities of the association “The Angels” with the support of City of Split, contribute to the goal of improvement of social services while nurturing the modern approaches of non-institutional care.

Total value of the project is almost 2 million HRK (1.999.829,20 HRK) with the possibility of 100% EU non-returnable funds co-financing. With the support of Administrative Department for Social Welfare, Health Care and Demography and Department for International and EU Projects of the City of Split, the project has been applied for European Social Fund Call “Improvement of existing and expansion of non-institutional care services in the area of selected urban agglomerations / areas of Osijek, Pula, Rijeka, Slavonski Brod, Split, Zadar and Zagreb”, and we believe in successful application outcome.
